The Film Festival draws the curtain<\/strong><\/h1>"},"content":{"rendered":"

Unfortunately, the 67th San Sebasti\u00e1n International Film Festival<\/a> has closed its doors this weekend<\/strong> and has left us with a week full of films, glamour and celebrations in our beautiful city.<\/p>

Celebrities such as Kristen Stewart, Pen\u00e9lope Cruz, Donald Sutherland or Ricardo and Chino Dar\u00edn have walked along the red carpet in San Sebasti\u00e1n these days. And although many people thought that, for the first time in many years, a Basque film such as \u201cLa Trinchera Infinita\u201d (The Endless Trench) might win the Golden Shell,<\/strong> the prize has crossed the ocean and left San Sebasti\u00e1n to a Brazilian favela in R\u00edo de Janeiro for the film \u201cPacificado\u201d (Pacified).<\/p>

There have also been other surprises such as the exclusive premiere of the film \u201cJoker\u201d, winner of the Golden Lion in Venice; and the presentation of the Donostia Honorary Award by Bono from U2 to an elegant Pen\u00e9lope Cruz.<\/strong><\/p>

La Perla could not be outdone and we have always dressed up to receive the different renowned guests who have chosen our facilities<\/strong> as they deserve for giving themselves a beauty treatment, eating at our restaurant and enjoying a relaxing time in our thalassotherapy. Actors, actresses, directors and cinema professionals have sought refuge in La Perla, a place to go unnoticed and enjoy moments for relaxing and disconnecting.<\/p>

Former handball player Eli Pinedo visited us to place herself under the hands of our beauty team<\/strong> and try out our Diamond Cocoon treatment for stars,<\/a> an anti-ageing treatment which repairs the skin and reverses the effects of pollution and stress in a booth of 99.9% pure air. An hour of luxury for your skin that leaves you like new.<\/p>

And in order to recommend and apply them correctly, our Health and Aesthetics beauty team received ad hoc training last week to test the new Diamond Cocoon range of products.<\/strong> Our colleagues enjoyed themselves enormously learning how to apply the exclusive Natura Biss\u00e9 products with prebiotic, strengthening and purifying ingredients that activate our defence system.<\/p>

Such is the case of our friends from the USA who have chosen La Perla Restaurant once again this year to taste the San Sebasti\u00e1n cuisine<\/a><\/strong> with unique views over La Concha bay.<\/p>

Despite it being a shame that the 2019 Film Festival has come to an end, we are left with the feeling of having enjoyed the presence of a large number of artists and the glamour that continues to float in the air in our streets. This year once again, San Sebasti\u00e1n has undoubtedly shown itself to be a city that rises to the occasion<\/strong> of a film festival of these characteristics.<\/p>
