On 25 April, the Thalassotherapy Treatment Circuit will reopen after extensive renovation and improvement. This is the revival of a unique activity that can be enjoyed in San Sebastian, regardless of the weather. La Perla, a beloved destination for locals, visitors, and tourists, is ready to welcome you back.
Reopening on Thursday, 25 April
Next Thursday, 25 April, La Perla will reopen its Thalassotherapy Treatment Circuit to its customers and members after a two-month-long complete renovation of its facilities. This reopening is in addition to other spaces at La Perla that have remained in operation: its gym, health and beauty facilities, restaurant, cafeteria, and terraces. The renovation process undertaken in the Thalassotherapy Treatment Circuit has been one of the most extensive in the more than 28 years of the hotel’s operation. This has resulted in a complete overhaul and repair of the seawater-fed facilities and a significant upgrade to many of its decorative elements.
La Perla Experience in San Sebastian
This renovation aims to improve the user experience at La Perla so that both regular members and visitors or tourists can enjoy a more comfortable stay at this iconic building in San Sebastián.
Additionally, locker rooms and signage have also been renovated and updated, and special mention should be drawn to the aquafitness area within the active pool, where the number and variety of underwater cardiovascular machines have been added, a fully equipped aquatic gym featuring sports activities in a salt-water setting that increases resistance and reduces the impact on muscles and joints: aqua bike, swimming with a harness, elliptical trainers, etc.
Thalassotherapy overlooking La Concha
The La Perla treatment circuit, with its unparalleled location and awe-inspiring views over the bay of La Concha, stands as one of Europe’s most extensive urban thalassotherapy facilities. It offers a treatment that combines the sea’s recreational, physical, and therapeutic benefits, all while enjoying a unique perspective. The entire treatment circuit relies on seawater from the bay of La Concha. The facilities cover over 5,500 m2, arranged on two levels, combining swimming pools, Jacuzzis, jets at different temperatures and intensities, saunas, steam baths, water beds, and relaxation areas to guarantee relaxation, fitness, and pleasant well-being.
